Holy Humor Sunday
For many congregations around the world, the Sunday after Easter is know as "Holy Humor Sunday." This tradition dates back to the 1300s in Europe based on the knowledge that God pulled the greatest joke ever on the devil at Easter and the Resurrection. The devil thought he had defeated Jesus at the cross, but God raised Jesus from the dead -- pulling a fast one on the devil! With the idea that laughter should be part of church, and part of our walk with God, please enjoy today's sermon!
